Mayor Koch has made leveraging private partnerships a major part of the City’s economic development efforts whether it’s in downtown or other parts of the City. Those efforts fit into a national model for public-private partnerships and the City was recently featured in a New York Times story detailing how other cities can follow Quincy’s lead.
