Vaccine Clinic Approaches 10,000th Dose

Mayor Koch’s innovative collaboration with Manet Community Health Center to operate a vaccine clinic at the future site of the DeCristofaro Early Learning Center on Old Colony Avenue is approaching the 10,000th vaccine shot administered.

“We could not ask for a better partner than Manet Community Health Center. Working together, we’ve been able to provide a uniquely local option for our community members seeking vaccinations appointments. It’s not perfect, and we all know full-well the supply challenges, but overall it’s been a great success,” said Mayor Koch

Providing every resource possible has been the centerpiece of Mayor Koch’s pandemic response over the last year. Through expanded testing, protections for the City’s vulnerable populations, and direct relief to businesses and employees adversely affected by the pandemic’s economic fallout, Quincy continues to lead among Massachusetts communities.

In accordance with Governor Baker’s vaccine phasing plan, Manet has also stepped up to begin helping vaccinate the City’s teachers and school staff as well other local essential workers.

If you’re eligible to receive a vaccine, please visit the Manet Community Health Center website at www.manetchc.org to register.
